THE WATERFRONT CAST AND EPISODE GUIDE FOR NEW NETFLIX DRAMA

A smalltown family empire built up over many years is in danger of being washed away in the Netflix drama The Waterfront.

After years of hard graft, the Buckley family have made it with their fishing and restaurant business but they now face the prospect of losing it all.

The show’s creator Kevin Williamson, behind Dawsons’ Creek and Scream, told Netflix’s Tudum: “They’ve pulled themselves up from nothing and they’ve built this mini fishing empire in their small little town.

“Now it’s being taken away from them bit by bit.

“They’ll do anything to hold onto it, because it represents their family.”

Set in coastal North Carolina, The Waterfront is inspired by Williamson’s own life growing up and is as much about family dynamics as the lengths people will go to when their legacy is on the line.
