Doja Cat has repeatedly reminded the world why her voice dominates global pop culture. Yet behind the glamour, flashing cameras and roaring applause, the pop provocateur quietly battled a deeply personal struggle, one she has now finally chosen to speak about after keeping it private for years.
That revelation came when Doja Cat took to TikTok on March 13, revealing her diagnosis with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and sharing that from a young age she learned to pretend everything was okay, often masking her emotions and appearing happy even while struggling inside, describing the experience as deeply agonising and emotionally exhausting.
“I’ll get it done. And it caught up with me, and I think it always does for people. I’m now struggling with BPD,” Doja Cat said on her TikTok.
The singer also revealed that she had spent years in therapy trying to understand and manage it. Though the journey had been difficult and she still made mistakes, Cat said she ultimately felt relieved and proud of the progress she had made.
“I’ve been in therapy for years now, and I am so relieved and so proud of myself. I’ve made it so far, and I still make mistakes,” she added.
However, even while quietly battling this personal struggle, Cat never let it dim her reign on the global stage, continuing to deliver headline-making moments as she set stages ablaze across continents with her ongoing Ma Vie World Tour 2026.
With the release of her fifth studio album ‘Vie’ in September 2025, Doja Cat launched her Ma Vie World Tour, which began in Auckland in November 2025 and later moved to Latin America in February 2026 with shows in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Lima, Bogotá, and Mexico City.
The ongoing global tour has already taken Cat across multiple countries and continents and will next move through Europe and the UK in May–June, followed by North America from October to December 2026, ending in Madison Square Garden on December 1, 2026.
Also known for chart-topping hits like ‘Say So,’ ‘Woman,’ and ‘Kiss Me More,’ Doja Cat continues to bring that same high-voltage energy to the stage. Promoted by Live Nation Entertainment, the Ma Vie World Tour marks the biggest run of her career to date and her first time headlining across multiple regions, including Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Latin America.
